Community fitness in the park day planned

Moms of Carbon County, along with instructors from Rat Pack Fighting Systems, Tricia’s Dance Extreme, the Zoo Health Club and Spillane’s Fit, is bringing a full circle fitness and health day to Lehighton for all families of Carbon County.

Join them from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Phifer’s Ice Dam Park, 880 Main Road, Lehighton.

Presentations and one-on-one discussion with nutrition and health gurus regarding meal planning, nutrition and supplements will be offered.

Classes will include: Kickboxing, Matt Breiner (Rat Pack Fighting Systems, Palmerton); Zumba, Julie Tanczos (Spillane’s Fit, Palmerton); Bootcamp, Gwendolyn Remaly (The Zoo Health Club, Lehighton); Yoga, Heather Dowling (Heather Barna Dowling Intuitive Therapies & Spiritual Coaching); Mommy and Me, Tricia Hettler (Tricia’s Dance Extreme, Lehighton); and more.

The event also includes a basket raffle to benefit Moms of Carbon County and its outreach initiatives within the Carbon County area.

Preregistration is preferred; check-in and registration starts at 9 a.m.
