Driver facing DUI after crash
A driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 12:32 a.m. on Fridayalong Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.
State police at Lehighton said Daniel R. Nonnemacher, 28, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2002 Hyundai Elantra when he crashed in the area of 2685 Little Gap Road. Nonnemacher was taken by Palmerton ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Troopers said he was found to be driving under the influence.
