John ‘Toot’ O’Gurek Tournament winners named

Billy Goho of Tamaqua and Lenny Rehatchek of Nesquehoning, center, were the winners of the Fifth Annual John ‘Toot’ O’Gurek Memorial Horseshoe Tournament held recently on the grounds of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill. The double-elimination tournament featured two-man teams from the Carbon-Schuylkill-Lehigh area. With the winners are O’Gurek’s immediate family members, including, from left, son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Bec; Nate Krajcirik and daughter Shana O’Gurek (holding their son Kohl); granddaughter Adilynn O’Gurek and grandsons, Axel O’Gurek and Cooper Lynn, front, widow Diane O’Gurek; and daughter and son-in-law, Heather O’Gurek and Andrew Lynn, with son Owen.
