A look back: Aug. 2, 1995
Two employees of the Lehighton Post Office were honored yesterday for driving a million miles — or for 30 years — without a chargeable accident.
Eaton E. Kutz and Leonard J. Mikulski were given plaques during an awards program yesterday at the post office.
Ray Sprgio, manager of Human Resources in the Harrisburg District of the U.S. Postal Service said the driving records are quite a feat and indicated the employees are professional drivers.
Certificates for safe driving were also presented to Ed Donner, 24 years without a chargeable accident; Arnie Fritz and Wilbur Niehoff, 22 years each; and Ken Fegley, 21 years.
