Kunkletown man killed in crash
A Kunkletown man died in a one-car crash on Little Gap Road, Lower Towamensing Township, early Saturday morning.
Brian D. Heydt, 38, of Hawk Farm Road, died when his vehicle rolled over at about 1:40 a.m., said Carbon County Coroner Robert W. Miller Jr.
The cause of death was blunt force trauma, Miller said.
He said the crash happened during a heavy downpour, and that Heydt was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Miller pronounced Heydt dead at 3:10 a.m.
State police at Lehighton are investigating the crash.
