West Penn Township supervisors took the following action last week:

• Agreed to build an impound lot at the township police station. The township will use about $10,000 from the police department’s budget to build the impound lot, which will be 102 feet deep and 96 feet long, with the capacity to hold between 30-40 vehicles.

• Agreed to purchase larger no parking truck signs to be placed by EZ Market at the intersection of Route 309 and 895 to replace the existing signs. They recommended the signs be no larger than 24-by-24.

• Adopted a resolution for the township’s 2018 Community Development Block Grant allocation of $92,728; of that, $76,037 is for housing rehabilitation, and $16,691 for administrative costs.
