Man from Kunkletown is cited after crash

Michael N. Bixler, 41, of Kunkletown, was cited by state police at the Lehighton barracks for failure to stop or yield for a posted sign after a two-vehicle mishap at 10:55 a.m. Aug. 8 at the intersection of Little Gap and Lower Smith Gap roads in Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said he was driving a 2011 Subaru Legacy that pulled into the intersection and collided with a 2015 Honda Civil driven by Ashley M. Peleschak, 29, of Saylorsburg.

Neither driver was injured.
