Golden Agers

Panther Valley Golden Agers will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at St. John’s Slovak Lutheran Church Social Hall. The group is expecting a speaker for the meeting.

Members meet every second and fourth Monday of the month.

Coaldale

Street paving

Street paving will take place in borough of Coaldale the weeks of Aug. 26 and Sept. 2. Drivers should be alert and are asked to use caution as street closures and new traffic patterns are in place.

No parking will be permitted on the streets the day they are being paved. Signs will be posted ahead of the paving.

Streets to be paved include sections of Second Street and West Phillips Street.

Borough office closed

The Coaldale Borough secretary’s office will be closed Monday.
