Monroe driver facing DUI count
A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident on Sunday at 4:19 a.m. along Route 611 at Scotrun Avenue in Pocono Township.
State police at Stroudsburg said Michael Dantonio, 52, of Mount Pocono, was stopped for traffic violations. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are pending.
