Schuylkill crash investigated

State police at Frackville reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 11:20 p.m. Sunday along Buck Mountain Road in North Union Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Gail Zola, 50, of Zion Grove, was driving a 2003 Dodge Caravan eastbound when the vehicle went off the road and into a ditch along the south berm. Troopers said Zola failed to notify police immediately of the crash and reported it nine hours later.

Zola, who was not injured, was cited for the crash. The vehicle had to be towed.
