Schuylkill man facing assault charge

A Schuylkill County man is facing charges following a domestic incident.

State police at Frackville said troopers investigated a reported domestic violence incident along Summer Valley Road in East Brunswick Township, on Saturday around 6 p.m.

As a result troopers said Harry Valentine, 48, of New Ringgold, has been charged with simple assault and harassment. The victim in the incident was identified as a 46-year-old woman.

Valentine was arraigned on the charges before a district judge and released on bail, troopers said.
