Miss Elsie Tolan, a legacy

Aug. 23 was a sad day for Marian Catholic High School and Marian Fillies. That day the angels called our teacher and coach home to heaven. Guess they formed a squad up there to teach and coach. She’ll get their wings ready for basketball, possibly playoffs. Then, come spring, softball in the snow. This was her life. Teaching phys. ed. to thousands, coaching numerous athletes. A woman of strong character.

We will miss you, Miss Tolan. Thank you for teaching us the fundamentals of life. We will see you again, maybe play full court.
