Antique appraisal fair will be Sunday

Ever wondered if an item in the basement or attic was actually something of value? The Tamaqua Historical Society is offering you the opportunity for discovery with the second annual Tamaqua Historical Society Antique Appraisal Fair.

The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. this Sunday with an appraiser from the Lehigh Valley on hand to provide an expert opinion.

There will be a limit of three items per person, with a fee of $5 per item. All proceeds will benefit the Tamaqua Historical Society. The only exclusions are sports collectible cards, fine art and firearms.

The event will be held in the Tamaqua Area Historical Society’s Museum Annex, 114 W. Broad St., Tamaqua.
