Weatherly lockdown due to police activity

A lockdown today in Weatherly Area School District was due to off campus police activity, officias said.

“The lockdown was initiated by the Weatherly Police Department as a precautionary measure for an off-campus incident,” parents were told.

The district was in lockdown until the police department gave the all-clear.

It was not clear what the incident was.
