Stroudsburg woman facing DUI charges

A 42-year-old Stroudsburg woman is facing charges of driving under the influence following a multivehicle crash at 4:55 p.m. Aug. 20 at the intersection of Rimrock Drive and Route 611 in Hamilton Township.

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks said they were summoned to the scene and found the woman to be under the influence of alcohol. She was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville. Police said the charges will be filed pending toxicology results.
