Carbon art league to meet Wednesday

The Carbon County Art League will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Seventh Moon Day Spa, 701 Bridge St., B103, in Lehighton.

Claudia Hill will be presenting her gourd art, sharing completed pieces, techniques and answering questions.

Attend the meeting to learn more about a not-so-typical canvas for art. Also learn about an upcoming challenge/fundraiser for the CCAL.

The Carbon County Art League is a nonprofit organization supporting the arts and artists in and around Carbon County. Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month.

Membership is encouraged, but the public is welcome to attend any of the meetings and learn more about the art community in the region.
