Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class, morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Tuesday: Ladies Bible study, 10 a.m. at Blocker’s residence.
Wednesday: Prayer meeting, 7 p.m.
Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.
Friday: Wrapped in Prayer Ministry.

Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Jim Banks. It is a place for a fresh start with God.
Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; Contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.
Tuesday: Adult Bible study at 6:30 p.m., currently studying the book of Galatians.
Communion: Last Sunday of the month.
Trinity happenings
Sunday worship with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., begins at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free wafers are available for those with allergy issues. Music will be provided by the Praise Band. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Rich Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth 6 begins at 10:45 a.m.
“Breaking Bread” youth group for students in grades 7-12 will meet in the youth room from 5-7 p.m. Sunday. “Thunder & Lightning” youth group for students in grades 4-6 will meet in the youth room from 5-7 p.m. Sept. 19. Led by Vicar Rich Bergen, the group has supper, Bible study with discussion, service project and games.
For those who receive once-a-month assistance from the food pantry, in addition to the regular Tuesday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. schedule, third Tuesday evening hours are starting from 5:30-7 p.m. Sept. 18.
For those desiring to arrange a baptismal date, Pastor Moore will share information at 1 p.m. Sept. 21. For those desiring to seek membership at Trinity, Pastor Moore will provide information at 1 p.m. Sept. 30. Please contact the church office in advance at 610-377-4303 to register.
