Schuylkill County court — guilty pleas
Schuylkill County judges have accepted guilty pleas from people charged by local police. In addition to their punishments, all were ordered to pay court costs and fees.
Judge James P. Goodman accepted pleas from:
Odette A. Delapaz, 41, of McAdoo, who was charged by McAdoo police with two counts of driving under the influence and restrictions on alcoholic beverages on March 15, 2017.
She pleaded guilty to one count of DUI, and Goodman sentenced her to five years on intermediate punishment and to perform 20 hours of community service. She also was fined $1,500 and her license was suspended for 18 months.
Anthony L. German, 23, of Coaldale, was charged by Tamaqua police with four counts of burglary, eight counts of criminal trespass, three counts of theft, and one count of criminal mischief on Feb. 1, 2017.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of theft. Goodman sentenced him to five years on probation.
Deborah A. Gulash, 48, of McAdoo, was charged by McAdoo police with arson and risking a catastrophe, and recklessly endangering another person on Sept. 3, 2017.
She pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment, and Goodman sentenced her to two years on probation.
