Schuylkill County court — probation and parole revocations
Schuylkill County judges revoked the probation and parole of three people charged by local police.
Judge Charles M. Miller revoked the probation of David R. Green, 66, of Tamaqua, and sentenced him to the 43 days he’d already served to up to 12 months in jail.
He was released on immediate parole.
Green was charged by Tamaqua police with defiant trespass on May 27, 2017.
Judge James P. Goodman revoked the probation of James E. Bloss, 63, of Tamaqua, and sentenced him in two cases.
In one, he was charged by Rush Township police with defiant trespass on Feb. 22, 2017.
Goodman sentenced him to 12 months on probation.
The probation is to be served after Bloss is released from a 52 days to 12 month sentence in the other case.
He was charged, again by Rush Township police, with theft by deception and retail theft on Nov. 23, 2016.
Bloss will be eligible for parole on June 14, 2019.
Goodman also ordered him to continue mental health treatment.
Goodman also revoked the parole of David J. Brode, 24, of Tamaqua, and sent him back to jail for three to 12 months followed by three years on probation.
He also ordered Brode to undergo anger management treatment and have a mental heath evaluation.
Tamaqua police charged Brode with theft and receiving stolen property on March 9, 2016.
