Police investigate identity theft

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a theft/fraud incident that happened March 5 in Saylorsburg.

The victim is a 56-year-old Saylorsburg man.

Police said someone obtained the victim's identity and used it to open a Sprint wireless account.
