Charges are pending against a Nazareth man who caused a crash in Summit Hill last week.

Borough police were dispatched to the top of the Lansford/Summit Hill hill, Route 902, just before 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 2, for report of a vehicle into the guide rail.

When police arrived, officers saw a silver Dodge Durango. An investigation revealed that the vehicle drove off the roadway and off the berm of the road.

It then rode an embankment for approximately 240 feet, where it finally came to rest as it hit the guide rail.

Police looked to see if the driver of the vehicle, identified as Ivan Sealey Jr., 40, ofElmwood Drive, was in the area, but he was not.
