Hit-and-run truck driver sought

A hit-and-run truck driver is being sought following an incident that occurred about 8:13 p.m. on Monday along Interstate 81 in Kline Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Anthony Blasko, 45, of Lansford, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze northbound in a work zone when a tire and wheel was thrown from a truck-tractor/semi-trailer combination and struck his vehicle head-on. The truck-tractor was also northbound.

Blasko was able to stop his vehicle but the truck-tractor operator continued north without stopping.

Blasko was not injured.
