New Jersey driver facing DUI count

A New Jersey driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol following an incident in Carbon County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Jerry Allan MacWilliams, 63, of Cinnaminson, was stopped at 10:22 p.m. on July 28 along Route 903 at North Sycamore Drive, in Penn Forest Township, for multiple traffic violations.

He was found to be impaired and submitted to field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was then placed under arrest for DUI.

Charges were filed.
