Coaldale man faces drug charges
Jonathan Seekins, 33, of West High Street, Coaldale, was charged by Coaldale Police after an incident on July 28.
On duty police received a tip that Seekins was driving a red Chevrolet Blazer.
An officer responded and saw Seekins behind the wheel of the Blazer in the area of Lehigh Street.
Seekins then parked the SUV on Fifth Street and started walking toward High Street, where he was stopped by the officer.
Seekins admitted driving without a valid license and gave police permission to search his backpack.
The pack contained two hypodermic needles in a side compartment.
The officer then searched Seekins and found three wax paper baggies containing suspected heroin in his wallet.
He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license.
