Theft of flag investigated

Tamaqua police are looking for the person who swiped an American flag from in front of the American Legion, located along West Broad Street, in the early morning hours of Aug. 1.

The flag was taken from a parking meter in front of the Legion, the second time a flag was stolen this summer.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at 570-668-5000.
