Paint like Edvard Munch at Tamaqua art cente
The Scream by Edvard Munch
Everyone can relate in some way to Edvard Munch’s painting “The Scream.”
The Tamaqua Community Art Center, 125 Pine St., Tamaqua, and Hilary England are offering budding artists the opportunity to create their own version of the iconic painting.
A “Paint Like Munch” class will be held at the art center from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 21. England will present information on Munch as well as provide painting instructions.
Preregistration is required and may be made by calling 570-668-1192 or by visiting online at www.tamaquaarts.org.
The fee will include instructions, a canvas, brushes, supplies and light refreshments.
