Palmerton Democrats to discuss issues facing school board

The Palmerton Area Democratic Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Palmerton Hotel, 302 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.

“Issues Facing the Palmerton Area School Board” will be the focus of discussion with school board member and Democratic Club Vice President Kathy Fallow. This event is free and open to the public.

Optional dinner and a social hour will precede the meeting at 6 p.m. RSVP for dinner to Sue Olivia at 610-826-7975 or solivia@ptd.net with menu choices by 8 p.m. Monday.

The Democratic Club continues to collect canned goods at its meetings to share with the food bank run by the Community Action Council of Palmerton Area Churches.

Meetings are held monthly, at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month from September to May.
