Glass making class in Tamaqua

Glassmaking classes will be held Oct. 27 at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, 125 Pine St., Tamaqua.

There will be two sessions, from 10 a.m. until noon and from noon to 2 p.m. The early class will focus on creating a pendant, while the afternoon class will feature a glass icicle.

Fees include all tools, materials and hands-on instructions in flame/lampworking, shaping, sculpting and design skills using Borosilicate glass.
