Burglary, theft, mischief reported

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a burglary, theft and criminal mischief in separate incidents.

The break-in occurred on Horseshoe Drive, in Towamensing Township, Carbon County. The resident reported someone forced open the entrance door to a garage on the property. However, nothing was taken. The incident occurred sometime between 9 and 11 p.m. on Aug. 16.

Two Moultrie trail cameras and two climbing sticks to a tree stand were taken from a site on Olive Street in Towamensing Township. The missing items were valued at $160. The incident occurred sometime between Aug. 20 and Monday.

A 17-year-old male from Kresgeville had been cited for criminal mischief following an incident on Monday about 12:42 a.m. Troopers said the teen got into a verbal argument with a woman on Red Fox Court, in Polk Township, Monroe County, and caused damage to items in the victim's home.
