Carbon County planning commission

Carbon County Planning Commission made only two recommendations during its monthly meeting on Tuesday.

• Richard T. and Mary Alice Kuhn received plan approval for their proposed subdivision/lot line revision at 257 W. Fifth St., Jim Thorpe. The plans call for subdividing a 5.920-acre tract into two lots and combining one of those lots with another 1.225-acre lot to create a 5.859-acre lot.

• Jerusalem United Church of Christ Cemetery Association Inc. received conditional plan rejection for its proposed lot line revision at 545 Church Drive, Towamensing Township. The plans call for combining two lots to create a new plot.

Officers

The commission also held its annual reorganization at the beginning of its meeting.

Fred Bresswein will remain the chairman of the board; while George Karas keeps the vice chairman seat and Frank Jacobs remains the commission’s secretary.
