Gym hosts event for kids with autism
Spectrum of Support is partnering with Cathedral Rock Gym in Lehighton to bring “Tricks and Treats for Teens” on Wednesday.
This free event is only for children ages 12 and up who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or special needs. Kids and siblings will get to try rock climbing while parents learn about available resources.
You must call 570-732-4220 to register your child (ages 12 and up) for one of two climb times: 5-7 p.m. or 7-9 p.m.
John Mahinis, CEO of CTC Manufacturing, will be on hand to talk to parents about their career opportunities from 5-7 p.m. CTC Manufacturing is a 501c(3) whose mission is to provide job training and employment to people with disabilities who want to work.
