Arrests reported

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

At 3:33 a.m. Aug. 12, troopers responded to the area of 165 Tar Run Road in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for a reported protection from abuse order violation. On scene the 60-year-old male victim told troopers that Heather Compton, 29, of Lehighton, had entered his property, which was a violation of a PFA order he had against her.

She was taken into custody and transported to the county prison in Nesquehoning.

At 5 p.m. Sunday, troopers responded to 100 Johnson Lane in Towamensing Township for a man found injured by a neighbor. On scene, officers found Harry Compton, 60, of Lehighton intoxicated. He was cited for public drunkenness.

Also on Sunday, at 7:30 p.m., troopers responded to the area of Robin Hood Lakes pavilion in Monroe County. On scene, troopers learned that Rose Thomas, 56, of Kunkletown, started arguing with a 27-year-old female from Dunmore, Luzerne County, during which she slapped the victim in the face. Thomas was cited for harassment.
