Police investigate indecent assaults

State police at Lehighton are investigating several reports of indecent assault.

Police said they were summoned at noon Sept. 17 to Squirrelwood Court, Polk Township, where a 10-year-old incident was reported.

Police said the victim is a 14-year-old girl from Effort. It is alleged the suspect in the case made the girl perform sexual acts to him when she was 4 years old.

A second report alleges an indecent assault incident happened at noon Sept. 9 along Vista Circle, Ross Township.

The victim is a 12-year-old girl from Saylorsburg.

Police also said they are investigating a report of child abuse that took place between midnight Sept. 1 and midnight Sept. 30 along Bee Hollow Drive in Penn Forest Township.

Police said the victim is a 6-year-old boy.
