Chairs stolen in Tamaqua

Dear Editor:

On the afternoon of Tamaqua’s Halloween parade, Tuesday, Oct. 23, I placed two chairs and a porch bench on the sidewalk in front of my residence so that my family could view the parade and be assured of a seat in front of our home. At parade time, we went out to the sidewalk only to discover that the chairs and bench were missing!

Apparently, someone came along and thought I was discarding the chairs and bench and removed them. If you are reading this and know anything about this incident, please have the person who mistakenly thought they were “garbage” return them to me.
