November 1, 1952 - A first-quarter touchdown pass from Bob Higgins to Bill Morgan accounts for the only touchdown as Nesquehoning blanks West Hazleton, 6-0, for its sixth straight win. The Nesquers, coached by Tony Mezza, march 80 yards in eight plays to produce the game’s only score. A 24-yard run by Nick Rose sets up the 31-yard TD toss by Higgins. The Nesquehoning defense allows just 93 yards in the contest. The game, played at Harman Geist Stadium, is witnessed by nearly 5,000 fans.
