November 3, 2006 — Derek George rushes for two touchdowns and Avery Weber catches a pair of scoring passes as Palmerton posts a 27-0 Colonial League win over rival Northern Lehigh. George carries 29 times for 111 yards, including his two 1-yard TD runs. Weber snares a 16-yard scoring strike from Zach Heller in the third quarter, and also hauls in a 3-yard TD toss in the final frame. Heller completes nine passes for 114 yards. The Blue Bombers, coached by Paul McArdle, force four turnovers to record the shutout. One of those is an interception by Weber.
