A look back: Nov. 3, 1955

Elizabeth Heins of Moser Avenue, Coaldale, was elected president of the Coaldale Hospital Auxiliary at a meeting held last evening in the Nurses Home.

Emily Gangaware of Coaldale was named first vice president; Mrs. Alvin Mengel of Tamaqua, second vice president; Margaret Craig of Coaldale, recording secretary; and Fern Christ of Tamaqua, re-elected treasurer. Installation of the officers will take place at the January meeting.

Hazel Neyer, president, was in charge of the meeting. Violet Kovaleski, R.N., of Tamaqua, was presented a handmade quilt.
