Theft of cellphone being investigated
State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of a cellphone.
A Garfield, New Jersey, woman reported at 2:15 p.m. Monday that someone took her Samsung 7S cellphone while she wasin the area of 100 Hilltop Drive in Polk Township, Monroe County. Purcell said possibly a family member took the phone. Troopers said the investigation is continuing.
