Lehighton man faces drug-related charges

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported a 25-year-old Lehighton man is facing drug-related charges stemming from an incident at 9:28 a.m. Thursdayin Towamensing Township.

Police said they were asked by the Carbon County Adult Probation Department to assist them with the apprehension of a man and woman.

Police said a search truned up drug paraphernalia and a variety of controlled substances in his possession. Police did not release the man's name.
