Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class, morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Tuesday: Women’s Bible study, 10 a.m. at Blocker’s residence.
Kids Club: K-sixth grade, second and fourth Tuesdays, 6-7 p.m.
Wednesday: Prayer meeting, prayer devotional and singing, 7-8 p.m.
Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.; choir practice, 7 p.m.
Friday: Wrapped in Prayer Ministry, 7 p.m.
Urgent: In need of children’s winter clothing sizes 4-14 for St. Peter’s Resource Center. Drop at side door to Bethany EC on Friday from 10 a.m.-noon.

Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Jim Banks. It is a place for a fresh start with God.
Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.
Tuesday: Adult Bible study at 6:30 p.m., currently studying the book of Ephesians.
Communion: Last Sunday of the month.
Trinity happenings
Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., begins at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Richard Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
Sunday church school classes for students age 3 through sixth grade begin at 10:45 a.m. There will be no Sunday church school classes next week (Nov. 18) due to the annual congregational meeting at that time slot.
The annual “Scouting for Food” takes place Saturday morning, Nov. 10. Boy Scouts will pick up from the front doors of people throughout the community nonperishable food items. The donations will be gathered in the food pantry for distribution during the month. Thank you in advance for your donations.
“Breaking Bread” youth group for students in grades 7-12 meets in the youth room Sunday from 5-7 p.m. Led by Vicar Rich Bergen, there will be supper, Bible study and discussion.
For those desiring to arrange a baptismal date, Pastor Moore will share information at 1 p.m. Nov. 18. For those desiring to seek membership at Trinity, Pastor Moore will provide information at 1 p.m. Nov. 25. Please contact the church office at 610-377-4303 in advance to register.
