St. John’s Lutheran Church events

St. John’s Lutheran Church of Mahoning, 826 Mahoning Drive, is holding the following events:

Monday: 7 p.m., Grief Support is a newly formed group. We will discuss “surviving the holidays.”

Tuesday: 10 a.m., Senior Citizens Activities Group will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to make nut tassies. Bring your pan’s shaper (ingredients will be supplied). Bring a lunch.

Tuesday: 6:30 p.m., A Book Club is starting. The first book is “A Man Called Ove” — a novel.

Thursday: 6:30 p.m., Dinner & Discussion is a newly formed group. We connect current situations with Scripture, beginning with an easy-to-prepare dinner.
