Theft at tower site under investigation

State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft that happened at the Service Electric tower site in Ross Township.

The incident was reported at 3 p.m. Sept. 1.

Police said two people accessed the site by cutting a chain-link fence that surrounds the property and removed several items from the site before fleeing in a white Dodge pickup.
