Mahoning Township - DUI

Mahoning Township Police just announced the following driving under the influence charges:

• Connie Holcomb, 54, of Tamaqua has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, restrictions on alcoholic beverages and careless driving. Charges result from a two-vehicle crash at 4:04 p.m. on Sept. 23 at the McDonald’s drive-thru. A Hyundai Elantra was rear ended by a Plymouth Acclaim driven by Connie Holcomb.

• Lisa Neff, 54, of Mahoning Township has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance (misdemeanors), careless driving, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, and invalid registration. The charges stem from an incident at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 1500 block of Hemlock Drive. Neff was driving a Chrysler PT Cruiser went off the right side of the road into a culvert.

• Jason Lutz, 35, of Saint Clair has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol (misdemeanor) and related driving citations after a Mahoning Mountain Road crash. Police said at 5:45 p.m. on Aug. 25, Lutz was driving a motorcycle that failed to negotiate an uphill curve. It crossed into the oncoming lane, striking a Subaru Outback. Lutz was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

• Amanda Hosier, 35, of Lehighton has been charged with four counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (misdemeanors). On Sept. 20, at 11:34 a.m. police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Mill Road. During the stop police seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, and a vial of liquid from Hosier. The driver, David Eisenhower, 38, of Lehighton was cited for driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, and not having insurance.
