Be prepared for snow squalls this afternoon

A line of snow showers approaching from the north may affect the evening commute in our region. The National Weather Service says the possibility of snow showers is expected between 4 and 7 p.m.

If you will be driving during the late afternoon or early evening hours, be prepared for a brief reduction in visibility and a light snow accumulation. Driving conditions may become hazardous in spots.
