Good evening. Please reRead this paragraph. And ask youself, why?
"Authorized the business administrator and treasurer to pay any district bills ... for ratification at its first regular meeting thereafter."
Sounds like the board gave your keys to the hen house to the fox. The government has but one job. Listen to the people as they oversee the people's government schools with fidelity.
Why would we, as a board, relinguish that one job? And if we did, why wpuld be give the responsibility to those we are supposed to oversee? Why not a third party auditor?
Even trustworthy employees need oversight, checks and balances. The constituents elected nine to do it for THEIR benefit, not the convenience of Superintendent and District. Rubber stampers with blind trust are not acting with fidelity.
A fool and your money,
Sincerely,
Citizen David F. Bradley Sr.
Good evening. Consider the Auditor general, Attorney General, and Feds. Transparency is the best disinfectant.
Citizens have a right to fully review every transaction of district funds, and every actions of its government. Start asking questions, we will get them answered.
