GoFundMe established to help victims of fire

Published November 29. 2018 01:19PM

Friends of Jean Miller and her fiance Steve Bozikis have set up a GoFundMe page to help the couple after an early morning fire destroyed their home on Switzgable Drive in Brodheadsville on Nov. 25.

According to the GoFundMe site, the couple was awakened at 3 a.m. by a neighbor who saw that their home was on fire. The couple escaped the fire but lost everything they owned.

Miller’s friend Elizabeth Bennett Mullin of Henryville set up the page to help the couple.

The page has raised $1,945 in the first three days.

Anyone interested in helping can go to the page via https://bit.ly/2KFmYcR.

Bozikis took to the page to thank those who donated.

“I can never repay all of you,” he said. “I can only say that your kindness will forever follow me for the rest of my days. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
