Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class, morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Tuesday: Women’s Bible study, 10 a.m. at Blocker’s residence.
Wednesday: Prayer meeting, prayer devotional and singing, 7-8 p.m.
Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.; choir practice, 7 p.m.
Friday: Wrapped in Prayer Ministry, 7 p.m.
Saturday: Holy Book Worms, “Plain & Fancy Christmas”
In need of children’s winter clothing sizes 4-14 for St. Peter’s Resource Center. Drop at side door to Bethany EC on Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.
Donation of the month for St. Peter’s Resource Center is toilet paper.

Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St. holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Jim Banks. It is a place for a fresh start with God.
Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; Contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.
Tuesday: Adult Bible study at 6:30 p.m., currently studying the book of Ephesians.
Communion: Last Sunday of the month.
Trinity happenings
Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., is at 9:30 a.m. Included during this time is the program “A Christmas to Believe In” presented by the students of the Sunday church school. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Richard Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
In the event of inclement weather which may lead to cancellations, look on the listings on WFMZ-TV, BRC Channel 13, or Trinity’s Facebook page. In addition, a message will be recorded on the church phone within two hours of the worship time.
Volunteers are welcome at 6 p.m. Dec. 7 for Christmas tree decorating.
“Breaking Bread” youth group for students in grades 7-12 meets 5-7 p.m. Sunday for supper, Bible study and discussion. Vicar Richard Bergen is the youth group adviser.
Appointments in December are available for individuals to arrange a baptismal date and/or congregational membership. Please call the church office at 610-377-4303 during business hours.
Looking ahead, the Christmas Eve worship schedule with Holy Communion: 6 p.m. family worship with music by the Trinity praise band, 9 p.m. traditional worship with candlelight.
