Jake Llewellyn begins a comeback with a pin at 138 pounds and Ed Smith adds another fall at 154. The Olympians, who had trailed 21-6, receive the winning pin at heavyweight from Steve Herman, who decks his opponent in just 1:10. During the deciding run, Fred Ohlsen (145) and John Cossman (180) also add decision wins. Early in the contest, Joe Bott (95) and Pete Susko (112) gain decision wins.
