Four area teams remained undefeated after picking up wins on Thursday.
The Jim Thorpe boys, along with the Panther Valley, Tamaqua and Weatherly girls all remained perfect in the early going.

Minersville-J. Thorpe
Jim Thorpe remained undefeated with a 51-44 non-league win over Minersville.
The Olympians (3-0) received 15 points from both Nate Rosahac and Adam Lauer.
Bryce Ellinger of Minersville led all scorers with 17 points.
Thorpe also captured the JV game by a 70-31 score.

Erika Dubosky poured in a game-high 24 points to help Panther Valley edge Tri-Valley in a non-league contest, 37-33.
Megan Pascoe added 11 points as the Panthers upped their record to a perfect 4-0.
Tri-Valley received a team-high 10 points from Emily Romberger.
The Panthers stayed unblemished at 4-0 with the win.

Emma Kuczynski’s double-double highlighted Tamaqua’s 69-26 non-conference victory over Kutztown.
