Smoke investigation at Slatington church
Fire companies from Slatington, Walnutport, Friedens and Palmerton were dispatched to a report of a structure fire Sunday afternoon in Slatington. Shortly after 1 p.m. crews were dispatched to St. John’s Lutheran Church on Second Street. Parishioners reported the smell of smoke in the structure. No injuries were reported in the incident.
